| 三月25日 - | 爵士營招生活動起跑，市民爵士欣賞講堂開始報名 |
| 四月21日~六月23日 - | 台北市民爵士樂欣賞講堂十場，每週五晚間於復興南路功學社舉行，參加學員134人，全勤71人，皆為愛樂之社會各界人士 |
| 六月10日 - | 欲參加學員試聽甄選（實踐大學音樂系） |
| 六月25日 - | 甄選結果公佈，開始寄發預習教材及相關資料 |
| 七月21日 - | 比利時三位師資與台灣兩位師資應雙燕樂器邀請主講「玩出優質的爵士樂 - 比利時爵士大師們的密技分享」互動講座（復興南路功學社） |
| 七月22日 - | 國際師資抵台與台北國際爵士音樂節開幕記者會與示範演出（復興南路功學社音樂中心二樓） |
| 七月23~七月29日 - | 爵士樂研習營課程正式進行，報到學員70名、中外師資9名、工作人員7名（實踐大學音樂系系館） |
| 七月26日 - | 主辦單位之一台北市政府文化局廖咸浩局長協同贊助單位之一比利時台北辦事處閔子雍主任巡視營區，並與師生互動 |
| 七月28日 - | 「爵士星空音樂會」九位國際師資聯合演出（台北市大安森林公園，估計有五千名愛樂聽眾前往聆賞，文化局廖局長與中外貴賓亦熱烈出席） |
| 七月29日 - | 「爵士馬拉松音樂會」爵士營成果發表音樂會師生攜手演出（台北市大安森林公園音樂台，自下午四點至晚上十點不間斷接力演出，估計有一萬人次愛樂聽眾前往聆賞） |

| March 25 - | Summer Jazz Academy Students Recruit country-wide and neighbour regions ; Jazz Music Appreciation - A Course of Lerctures for non-musicians started to enroll |
| April 21 ~ June 23 - | Jazz Music Appreciation - A Course of Lectures designed exclusively for non-musicians by TIJEPA instructors - Chi-pin Hsieh & Kai-ya Chang, along with special guests every Friday evening at KHS Music Center, the 10 lectures gathered 134 attendants, 71 of them had perfect attendence and the certification signed by DOCA Taipei City Government and TIJEPA |
| June 10 - | Audition for Summer Jazz Academy Students (Music Department of Shih-Chien University) |
| June 25 - | Annouced the audition result ; Started to mail out the materials for study |
| July 21 - | Interactive Workshop for Jazz Improvisation & Combo Playing - Hosted by 3 Belgian Jazz Faculty and 2 Taiwanese Jazz Faculty, Organized by KHS Musix, TIJEPA & Belgian Government, at KHS Music Center |
| July 22 - | Taipei International Summer Jazz Academy & Broadway Academy 2006 Press Conference for Faculty Arrive At Taipei, and Announcement of 2006 Taipei International Jazz Festival, Faculty Performance for Media (KHS Music Center) |
| July 23 ~ July 29 - | Taipei International Summer Jazz Academy in Shih Chien University, 70 students, 9 International Faculty, 7 Staff fully participated |
| July 26 - | The Commissioner of DOCA Taipei City Government - Dr. Xian-Hao Liao Visited the Summer Jazz Academy, along together with Mr. Huges Mignot - the Director of Belgian Office Taipei |
| July 28 - | International Jazz Faculty Concert in Da Ann Forest Park, 9 outstanding jazz musicians with the enthusiastic audience of 5,000 |
| July 29 - | Jazz Academy Final Gala Concert in Da Ann Forest Park, a non-stop musical marathon running from 4:00PM to 10:00PM, with fruitful programs ranging from Jazz, Fusion, Funk, R&B to Latin Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian styles, over 10,000 audience enjoyed the concert |
